What's the difference between Augustin’s Waffles® and Belgium Waffles?

The Belgium waffle that most Americans are familiar with is from the Brussels area of Belgium. It is plain and usually eaten for breakfast with butter and syrup or as a dessert with ice cream. Augustin’s Waffles® were developed in the Liege area of Belgium. Liege waffles are pre-sweetened with pearl sugar and have no artificial ingredients or preservatives. They are ready-to-eat and can be enjoyed anytime or anywhere.

What is the shelf life of the prepacked Augustin’s Waffles®?

• 6 weeks at room temperature.
• 8 weeks in your fridge.
• 1 year in your freezer.

What are the reheating directions for the prepacked Augustin’s Waffles®?

• Conventional Oven: for best results remove the packaging and reheat the waffles in an oven at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes if frozen and 3 minutes if refrigerated.
• Microwave Oven: if reheating in microwave, remove the packaging and heat on high setting for 40 – 45 seconds if frozen and 20 – 25 seconds if refrigerated.
• Toaster: remove the waffle from the packaging and heat the waffle in the same way for a bagel.
